Philosophy of Personal Development

Rugby School Thailand’s educational model rests on The Whole Person, The Whole Point — a philosophy inherited from its British parent institution. While academic achievement forms the foundation, sport, arts, and creative pursuits receive equal weight, as they shape lifelong skills and interests. This approach recognizes that today’s world demands competencies far beyond what classrooms alone can provide. Consequently, Rugby School Thailand has built a comprehensive co-curricular programme where each activity contributes to personal growth, nurtures curiosity, and prepares students for real-world challenges.

Extended School Day

The day runs until 16:45 for younger pupils, 17:35 for middle years, and 17:50 for seniors, seamlessly incorporating daily training sessions, creative studios, and homework time into the schedule. This structure allows families their evenings together without worrying about additional commitments. Each term, Rugby School Thailand offers over 60 activities — from intellectual games and technology to water sports and charitable projects. Pupils can develop linguistic abilities, join environmental initiatives, earn leadership qualifications, or explore painting, giving them confidence to try new things while deepening their passions.

Saturday Programme at Rugby School Thailand

Saturdays bring additional activities both on campus and beyond — rock climbing, diving, sailing, art studios, or English language sessions for international pupils. For boarders, whether full-time or weekly, this programme is included in fees. Educational trips become vital learning opportunities, allowing pupils to apply classroom knowledge in authentic settings. Younger students begin with overnight stays on campus, then visit Nong Nooch Botanical Garden for pottery, science, and muay thai traditions. Years 6-8 head to Sattahip for coastal ecosystem studies and snorkeling certification, plus two days exploring Bangkok’s art and Thai culture. Seniors travel to Kanchanaburi or Chiang Mai for three-day programmes featuring team challenges and outdoor pursuits.

Sports Competitions and Tournaments

Rugby School Thailand regularly competes against other international establishments, local clubs, and sports teams, allowing pupils to test themselves against varied opposition. Saturdays often feature training and matches that build discipline and perseverance. FOBISIA tournaments provide international competition across multiple sports:
